A practical example

A host family shared this week: Monday school pickup at 2:30 PM, au pair 1:30–6:00 PM; Tuesday soccer at 4:30 PM, au pair 2:00–7:00 PM; Thursday still looks like a normal afternoon. The weekly total is 38 of 45 configured hours.

On Wednesday, a parent learns that Thursday's meeting now ends at 5:00 PM. The family updates Thursday on the shared schedule, checks that the new end time still fits the configured daily limit, and sees the weekly total before saving.
